Inner Glow

Light escapes through fine cut and etch lines in the timber to expose a subtle pattern

Inspired by the way light bounces through a group of shoaling fish in the depths of the ocean. An internally lit object, the light escapes through fine cut and etch lines in the timber to expose a subtle pattern.

In situe, as the sun sets the piece of furniture will transform, come to life and glow in the low light. As you transverse around the piece the light flickers in your focus mimicking the dancing of fish under the water.
