Breakfast room dining chairs

Stately home, Cheshire, United Kingdom

These 14 chairs – made by our founder Mark Boddington for the remodelled Eaton Hall, home of the Grosvenor family – were one of Silverlining’s first important commissions.

Designed by John Stefanidis, along with matching benches and a pair of consoles, they are constructed from a series of English woods: box wood, laburnum and walnut, then decorated with woods from the Orient, including Macassar ebony and Indian satinwood, with white bronze inlays and feet.

They’re the highest quality craftsmen and send the most unusual wood samples.
