Pebble bench

Cheshire, United Kingdom

Beautifully incongruous, this sculptural English Wych elm bench is designed to mimic a worn pebble. It is crafted from over 2,100 individual pieces of elm, whose changing thicknesses and grain directions create natural contour lines as if the pebble has been tumbled and polished by the waves.

The bench is completely hollow to allow the solid wood to naturally expand and contract with the changing humidity of the seasons. Like all bespoke pieces, it is named and dated with Silverlining’s precious metal hallmarks.

Silverlining creates furniture with soul.
